Purchasing Prints

We have partnered with PhotoShelter™ to handle the ordering, printing, and distribution of prints and PayPal™ to handle the billing.

The steps for purchasing a print are:

 

  • 1. Search / Browsing for Image
  • 2. Determine Options
  • 3. Checkout
What is the best way to browse your photo galleries?
We recommend that you first navigate to the Country or Theme of your choice using the 'Galleries' menu. From there you will you will see multiple galleries available. Select the gallery that interests you and leisurely view a collection of photo thumbnails. Only 25 images are displayed at a time, but you can use the next or previous buttons to navigate to pages with additional images. To view an individual photo, click on its thumbnail and you will be presented with a larger image for viewing.
 
What if I don't have time for general browsing and need to find an item in a hurry?
For those in a hurry to find a specific image, you can either enter keywords into the search box and click on the 'Search' button or limit your search even more using the Advance Search. To access the Advance Search, click on the advance link near the search button. By using the Advance Search, you can narrow your search by such criteria as a) Date Range; b) City; c) State; d) Country; e) Orientation; or others.

If you are ready to license the photo now, you can click on the "+Cart" button if viewing a thumbnail or the "Buy Prints" button if viewing the single image. Otherwise, you can click on the "+Lightbox" button to add the image to your lightbox, which is a temporary holding area that you may return to later.

After clicking on the "Add to Cart" button, you will see a screen such as the following where you can select the quantity, size, and finish.

Then click either the "Add to Cart" button if you want to continue browsing for additional images, or the "Add an Checkout" button if you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart.

Do I need a PhotoShelter account to buy or license images?
No, you can add images to your cart without having an account. Upon checkout, a free PhotoShelter account will be created for you using your email and password that you specify. Don't worry, PhotoShelter is a reputable business and will not spam you or sell your information to other companies.

What is PayPal?
PayPal is our payment processing partner and handles all our billing needs. By using PayPal, it is not required for you to provide us with your financial information and thus extra security for our customers.
